Peka stretched out her body, her white fur gleaming as the suns rays lit up her pelt. She smiled, looknig upwards with blue orbs toward the sky. Such a beautiful day. No worry had come, hopefully none in her midst. But she didn't control that, so she didn't bother with it.
The oak tree above her provided her with shade if she desired it, a leaf or two falling with every gust of wind that passed it by, blowing Peka's fur. And the grass below her paws was quite soft for this time of the day, not unlike it to be soft at night. She'd always enjoyed the grass. Provided her comfort, like a mother to a kit.
She considered moving, or leaving from her place for a moment. But she looked down at the grass, and up at the tree, and was content for now. Again, why should she just create worry for herself when her life was worry free?

gray paws were silent as the tom moved through the darkness, his movement graceful and swift, yet there was a slight limp to it as the tom moved, yet it did no seem to phase him as he walked on.
it was obvious he was bored from his mild expression, and he didn't bother hiding his emotions now. there was nobody around anyway, and even if there was he didn't care one bit. the tom uttered a soft grumble as he passed through a low-growth plant, flickering an ear in annoyance before the growl died in his throat and he spotted a tree. surprisingly, he smiled with sickeningly amusement. he could scent another cat there, her presence standing out to him as her white pelt came to his gray and gray-green eyes instantly, and he grinned as he stalked silently forward, keeping carefully hidden.
As silently as he moved, he watched the she-cat as he stopped five feet from the tree before silently crouching and then leaping, hitting the tree with the faintest noise, but thankfully the wind blew his scent downwind. with skilled silence, he climbed up the tree and slowly appeared on a branch that was just out of he she-cat's reach if she tried to jump to get him.
a cold smile spread across his lips as a low chuckle rumbled from his chest, his eyes glinting in cold amusement as he stared down at the other. he loved the look on her face when she spotted him, and almost mockingly he leaned slightly over the branch to stare her in the face. " look at what we have here... a lone she-cat... you know, it's very dangerous to be alone, especially when there are others that can just come by and drag you off, and then dump you in the dirt and leave you with unborn kits... but i won't do that... now, who are you? " his voice was calm and smooth, though there was a sharp piece of shattered glass mixed in, carefully concealed there as well as he stared down at her, a smile spreading over his face. how fun this would be for him!

Peka sighed, the wind still blowing slightly in the wind as she ehard a noise. She perked her ears slightly, tail gently sweeping around her frame as she turned toward the tree, bu nothing appeared there, as she turned back around sighing.
She turned back around, then noticed a voice from up above her. " look at what we have here... a lone she-cat... you know, it's very dangerous to be alone, especially when there are others that can just come by and drag you off, and then dump you in the dirt and leave you with unborn kits... but i won't do that... now, who are you? " it rang out at her.
She had already stood up at this point, facing the grey tom that awas in a tree, slightly wondering how he had gotten up there without her noticing. But it didn't phase her too much, as she stared back into his eyes, a hint of anger in her blue pools. Of course he had just ruined her worry free day.
"Who says anybody can drag me off?" she said thingyily, still staring straight at the tom, her tail tip flicking back and forth while the wind still blew un forgiving, and she slightly wished it could blow him out of the tree, this rude tom. "And even though obviously I see you aren't going to drag me off, I'd like to see you try." she smirked, hoping the tom didn't actually try.
Her paw still hurt a little from hunting, the old injury being aroused again from her kithood. She remained standing up, unsheathing her claws just incase the tom did try anything. She was cautious in situations like this, and not knowning the tom she didn't care to make a mistake. "And I don't think I need to give you my name..." she said, slightly hesitant, with a rushed tone.

the lightly shaded gray pelt with dark stripes running like scars, ragged and seemingly torn that ran over his shoulders, neck, legs, face, back, and tail suddenly seemed darker, though nothing had changed. his gray eyes watched the she-cat as she turned, her face dumbfounded after he had spoken, and a cruel, cold smile came across his lips, only smaller in size than the last.
he watched as she gave him this look, and he would have loved to lean over a little farther and spit in her face, but he refrained himself. if he did that now, it would spoil his fun somewhat. his un had to be pure and amusing in his eyes for him to be able to enjoy creeping up on others and scaring them half to death and picking out their weaknesses and strengths. it all was so simple for him as he plucked emotions from this she-cat, easily finding her flaws.
as he took information that he would remember for a long time from her, she had begun to answer him. when she finished, he gave a small noise, a noise of false homour only with no emotion in it, coming out a sharp sound that was ragged and harshly sharp upon one's ears. the grey tabby was grinning with a wicked gleam in his eyes now as he stared down at her, and he replied, his voice smooth as still water's surface.
" Ah, then that'd be good for you if you fought back... most don't even try and just give themselves up and end up killing themselves later... quite saddening, really, " he went on, the wicked gleam sharpening as he paused, not long enough for her to inturrupt, before going on. " but you look like a smart one... i can sense you'd fight back with your life... "
he faded off at that, and paused, the wicked gleam vanishing from his gray eyes when she said that she didn't see why he should know her name, yet on the inside it all was going exactly the way he wanted. " well, now, " a pause. and then he continued. " we all have to learn to trust one another here... and it would be quite saddening if we had a pretty little she-cat like you end up in a unfortunate state... and names are quite useful.. " he ended there, yet he knew he hadn't answered her question, but he did not care at all. it was his nature to be cold and cruel. not his problem.

Peka stared back at the tom, wanting to bare her teeth, but not feeling the time was right for such a measure. The tom kept talking though, and Peka wondered if he ever got tired of being full of himself. Like he could do anything and no cat could stop him.
"I doubt you can 'sense' much." Peka mumbled, wondering if the tom heard while he talked on about things. A slight wind still blew, blowing her white fur slightly adrift in the wind, as her blue eyes continued to narrow to the tom in the tree.
"And I highly doubt," she mewed as the tom stopped talking, for a breath probably she figured, so she talked rather rapidly. But as she talked the tom wore a smirk on his face, she wanted to claw off. "That I'd need to trust a tom that just appeared in a tree above me. If anybody's going to be in an unfortunate state, it would be you." she growled, continuing.
She figured though, the grey tom staring back at her would interrupt her at some point, so she stopped talking waiting for a reply.

the gray tabby tom with dark stripes that framed his face sighed softly as peka stared up at him with piercing orbs before turning and silently moving the very edge of the branch as he could get without the branch swaying, breaking, or dumping him out of the tree. astrik was cunning -- one had to admit that, even though he had an ill temper and a wickedly daggered tongue. something useful most didn't have.
he could sense her anger rising beneath him, yet he completely ignored her then, staring out from the tree in which he was perched upon. the view would fascinate others; in his eyes, all he saw was trees with the colors of yellow, oranges, reds, and a mixture of all three colors. green, lush as freshly cut grass, was gone now.
which he stared out to the world in front of him, he expression bored, for he had lost intrest in peka now, as he did with all others, she spoke, mumbling. he faintly, barely heard her words, and his neck fur slowly started to rise, a low growling-snarl forming in his chest. she did not. but his eyes did not discieve him as slowly, his eyes coldly sharded, he looked down upon her.
" oh really? since you want to play it that way, go ahead ... but either way, I don't care what you say ... " he chose to ignore her then, taking his poisonous gaze from her blue eyes and rolling his own. he was so arrogant in the eyes of others -- and it was true, as well. he nearly sighed at her when she said the unfortunate state would be upon him, slowly, he looked down upon her a second time, his face utterly bored. " i would not care at all if you ever told me your name ... and you would not care for mine, either.. but now you are starting to really bore me, sadly, most of the others are far more entertaining... " he replied, his tone mild and irritated.
it was then he stood, not very gracefully, on his paws, and padded to the very edge of the branch, peered down at the ground once, and in a flas of tabby pelt the green-gray eyed tom was hitting the ground with a soft thump onto the ground, completely keeping his back to her. he began to walk away, but paused and looked back at peka. " be wary 'round here... otherwise, you could end up dead, and we wouldn't want that... but you're probably ignoring me, so... googbye. " with that, he started to walk off again.
